Every day artistic practice

The act of being available to the creative process is of the utmost importance. This varies from the constant mental process of conceptualizing ideas to a variety of physical tasks. Making art for me is a focused yet meandering process that often finds inspiration from the simple challenge of - “Can I do this? Can I make this work?” I develop a relationship with the work as it undergoes a variety of joys, minor revelations and torment all of which hopefully culminate in a feeling of calmness and satisfaction.

As soon I finish a painting, I tend to lose interest because the next idea waits.
